3 days juice fasting to strengthen the intestinal bacterias
WHY SHOULD YOU JUICE FAST? WHY DO WE NEED TO STRENGTHEN OUR INTESTINAL BACTERIAS ?
Lately many of my friends and even students tell me about intolerances and allergies to food, suffering from constipation, swellings acne and gut pain. Just like I was suffering from these symptoms because of an unbalanced milieu of intestinal bacteria.
Healing the intestine may me long-lasting and complicated - at least in my case it took me over 6 month to figure out which foods cause the symptoms and how I have to react in order to heal myself from inside out.
Which foods are causing the troubles may be different for everybody of us, yet there are the classical products causing allergenic symptoms

WHAT IS THE ELIMINATION DIET ?
Understanding which foods are causing the allergy or intolerance is a tricky thing. For me the only way to find out was the „elimination diet“, time consuming but at least you find out what is going on, when you eat which food. There are no generell rules, for example I can eat almonds, yet walnuts and cashews cause extrem allergic reactions for me. Quinoa is part of the grain family but I have no problems eating it, while I can´t eat wheat at all.
The three day fasting with raw-cold pressed vegetable juices helped me to sooth down my inflamed intestines, to eliminate the toxins from my colons and to create a strong milieu for healthy intestinal bacterias. Fasting for three days is a realistic time frame, even for beginners.
MY FASTING ROUTINE
I start the day with some glasses of warm water or Chaga and a spoon of MSM Powder, which taste pretty disgusting but helps to heal from inflammation and joint pain. For breakfast I am having a least 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder with coconut oil or pumpkin seed oil, supporting the detox of liver and gallbladder. You may also use thistle oil, hemp oil or flex-seed oil. They all taste amazing, are rich in saturated, healthy fats and help to overcome feelings of hunger.
Throughout the day I drink around 05,L of vegetable juices, preferably homemade.
I also take probiotics, supporting the healing of my guts and giving my system back the good bacterias. My favorite brand for probiotics is greenleaves.
MY JUICE FASTING TIPS
I don´t recommend fruit juices because the fruit sugar does not support the healing of the gut, yet produces more inflammation.
Some berries and apples may be used for your juices because they are low in their glucose level.
Fresh Aloevera juice is something I always have in my fridge when I am juice fasting because it helps to prevent headaches, which my be a side effect of the physical cleanse. Loads of water and fresh herbal teas are I drink all out the to rinse the organs.
During the 3 days I take a lot of time for myself, giving my body and mind time to reflect and relax trying to stay home or in my comfort zone, avoiding dinner invitations or other events.
